Introduction
After a long time I am back with a new handy tool called Skypr.

What is this?
I am a frequent Skype user and I am getting really tired of those ads and flickering images. So I decided to dig into this ‘issue’ and write something for it.

How does it work?
Well simply explained:
- Skypr will block system access to the advertisement server of Skype.
- Skypr will patch every Skype user config available.
- Skypr will lock every config, so Skype cannot overwrite it.

Are there any limitations?
No, everything works as normal. You still have a fully functional Skype, even premium users or subscribers. This tool will cause no issues.

What are the features?
Patch Skype within a few seconds.
Restore anytime you want.
Completely removes all ads, including the frames. So no white empty blocks.
Does not fuck up your hosts file, Skypr won’t even touch it!
Skypr is not harmful for your account, it only changes your local system.

What are the requirements?
This tool has been tested on Windows 8.1, but it should work on Windows Vista and higher, and of course Windows 10. This tool must be ran as Administrator.

Where can I download it?
Please only download my tools from my website. Otherwise I am not able to guarantee safety of the file! Download: [hidden]http://dl.qarizm.com/skypr/2/Skypr.exe[/hidden]

New version has been released! Read more about the update on the website. Fixes the infinite loop issue of Skype Home.

v2 hangs at Altering hosts file....

Even running it as admin doesn't help. It just hangs at that.. Any solution?
I am running Windows 8.1 Enterprise x86.
Thanks.

v1 works fine though however it has that bug which you fixed in v2.

Version 2 works when I ran the program in Windows 7 compatibility mode and administrator, I'm currently using Windows 8.1. :)

Temporarily disable all your antivirus tools, including MSE or Defender. And let us know.

Seems it doesnt work for me, it says patched ok, but i still get ads in the chat windows. Im on windows 10 by the way

Just go to Control Panel, then internet options (the standard internet explorer/system wide internet options).

Next, click the security tab and go to restricted sites.

Add https://apps.skype.com as a restricted site

And done! no more skype adds, no third party tools required.

Nice post thanks for share.

Awesome release, thank you. I just found this website and was looking around, saw this and a couple other interesting things HAD to register.
